Who: The course is designed for all NQTs who are due to start work in the city of Stoke-on-Trent in September 2019. This is an exciting opportunity to enable you to practise P4C in an educational setting. Completion of the course and facilitating 6 P4C sessions in your classroom will qualify you for a P4C Initial Practitioner certificate. We anticipate that the 6 sessions will take place in the 2019/20 academic year.
Cost: Free to all Stoke-on-Trent NQTs due to start work in city schools in September 2019. This includes lunch and refreshments but does not include any cover costs (Course fee for the two days is usually £210 and this is fully funded by the ‘Bercow 10 Years On’ initiative). We are very grateful for their generous support and more can be found at https://www.bercow10yearson.com/.
Course Dates and Venue: 8th and 9th July at The Teacher Education Bungalow, Keele University Campus, ST5 5BG. Joining details will be sent to you by 1st July at the latest, and by 31st May if you have booked a place by then.
